22yrs when first had the vision of going to college, 31yrs now
Went to upgrading classes from 2000 to 2002, not successful
Other unsuccessful attempts at continuing education/ went to continuing education at the Upper Grand district school board.
2006 did online courses, and were fun to do but was able to succeed in this setting
Fall 2007 Kerry’s Place agreed to help with school and provide supports
2007 received passport money for education, but too late to start in September
2008 enrolled in class but had to spend time in the hospital for about 1 month and had to back out of school, once again
Sept 2008 officially started College in the webmasters program, with the class “Internet”
Dec.2008 Successfully got a mark of 87%
Currently scheduled to take Internet Security in January 2009.
When I was 22 years of age I decided that I wanted to go to college and continue my education. I knew it was going to be tough but knew that I could succeed and that it would be worth it. I am now 31 years of age and have successfully competed my first semester at Conestoga College.

Internet Lesson Ten 20 November

Tonight was the final exam for the term. I already submitted Part C on tuesday when I submitted Assignment 4. I did Part A Multiple Choice/True-False and I just submitted Part B shoirt answer.

Next Term I will be studying "Internet Security" and reading "Counter Hack".

Internet Lesson Nine 13 November

This week I did a review of the exam questions. Part A is Multiple Choice or True/False, Parts B and C are long answers to questions. The exam will be held on November 20th. 2008.

Internet Lesson Eight 06 November

In this lesson, the class learned about Internet security. We wemt to a website www.grc.com/ to learn about ports.

The final review is next week.

Internet Lesson Seven 30 October

In this lesson, the class learned about internet tools and multimedia. Sites like offer multimedia on the internet. We ;ooked at , a program you use for voice over internet protocol.

Internet Lesson Six 23 October

This week was the Mid term exam. Part A was multiple choice and True/False. Part B was a writing exercise on domains and subdomains and file paths and Part C was was and HTML document that had to be created in TextPad, Notepad or other application.
